Ying-Chen Joyce Lin.

b. 1999, Taichung, Taiwan.
Living and studying in the Netherlands.

"The moment I see body-extension, it is through technology acting as an intermediary, embodying the relationship between human sensation and surrounding noise."

Her practice consists of several automatic control systems that entangle human data with analog currents and digital signals, taking the form of physical installations or performances.

She is currently a solo artist and a member of XTRUX. Her works have been presented at C-LAB Sound Festival, Yuejin Lantern Festival and LAB X The Young Artists’ Atelier at the National Taichung Theater. She has received grants from the Ministry of Culture and the National Culture and Arts Foundation.

She earned her BFA from Taipei National University of the Arts (TW) and is pursuing her master's at Frank Mohr Institute (NL).
