Statement:
An ordinary image is actually the path of light traveling from point to line and line to surface. For example, a flashing image is a trace of rapidly moving light particles. In this case, does all the dynamics of light have a nodal point, but at a speed that is imperceptible to the naked eye, giving the impression of a fluent flow?
This experiment was inspired by the book “HOW WE BECAME THE POSTHUMAN”, which explores what the body is and what its limits are. If everything can be considered a body, what is the body of light? The wave-particle duality of light has made this question complex from the beginning. Therefore, from the perspective of pure observation, I decided to deconstruct light into points, lines, and surfaces to examine the changes in the system caused by the body of light through imitation, extension, and conflict with the dancer’s body. Not only because light needs a medium, but also like when two strangers meet, they will generate feelings through observation and dialogue, and use their feelings to categorize each other's position in their hearts.
